I'm excited for you to join me at my Portrait POP Up Class! This class is for photographers of ANY experience level who want to up their skills, learn continuous lighting techniques, develop their artistic eye, and most of all, be INSPIRED. It will be a relaxed format with lots of time for participants to photograph in the comfort of my Long Island studio (located just outside of Queens).

Hands down, the beauty dish is my favorite modifier. I will show you how I use it in a variety of ways to make amazing, dramatic portraits.
LOTS of hands-on experience throughout the day.
Time will be set aside for you to photograph each other, as well as our models. After I teach you some technique, you will get a chance to try it out!

My Portrait Pop Up Class is about learning, growing, being inspired, and having FUN! If I didn't want to have fun in life, I would have become an accountant, NOT a photographer. I bring that energy to all my workshops, and also leave the EGO at home.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Pete Coco is a New York-based portrait photographer known for creating bold, engaging images that defy convention. Pete strives to capture authentic emotion from his subjects, and loves using dramatic light and a cinematic approach. He works with a wide range of clients including actors, musicians, executives, authors, and creatives who refuse to settle for an average portrait.
He also shares his perspective with 30K+ subscribers on YouTube, where he talks shop about portraiture, gear, and everything else photography. When he’s not working with clients or mentoring creatives, Pete can be found lugging his upright bass and camera around the city, playing with a variety of musicians and simultaneously documenting the New York music scene
